New catheter aims to cut down on painful infections and blockages

NCT ID NCT05931887

Summary

This study is testing a new type of silicone catheter to see if it causes fewer problems than standard catheters for people who need one long-term. About 200 participants will try both the new catheter and their usual one for three months each. Researchers will compare how often issues like infections, blockages, and pain occur with each type.
