New heart device aims to zap dangerous rhythms

NCT ID NCT06703489

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device system to treat a dangerous, fast heart rhythm called ventricular tachycardia (VT). The procedure uses a special catheter to deliver energy to scarred heart tissue to stop the abnormal rhythm. Researchers want to see if this new system is safe and can successfully prevent the fast heartbeat from being triggered during the procedure and from coming back later.
