Wrist access for carotid stenting gets a High-Tech upgrade

Summary
This study tests a new, specially designed catheter for placing a stent in the carotid artery (a major neck artery) through a small incision in the wrist. The goal is to see if this new tool makes the procedure faster and safer than current methods. About 204 adults with significant carotid artery narrowing will take part.
