Needle and sugar water: a new hope for carpal tunnel relief?

NCT ID NCT07324005

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive procedure for carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers want to see if combining two techniques—using a needle to partially cut a tight wrist ligament and injecting a sugar-water solution to free the nerve—works better than either method alone. The goal is to reduce pain, numbness, and hand weakness without the need for traditional surgery.
