New stent aims to keep neck arteries open and prevent strokes
NCT ID NCT06365697
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the Ton-bridge carotid stent. It is for people with a narrowed carotid artery in their neck, which is a major cause of stroke. The trial will compare this new stent to an older, commonly used stent to see if it is just as safe and effective at keeping the artery open and preventing strokes, heart attacks, or death.
