New hope for cancer pain: experimental drug aims to reduce opioid needs
NCT ID NCT05265052
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called 3D1002 can help reduce moderate to severe cancer pain, either alone or when combined with the opioid medication oxycodone. Researchers want to see if this combination provides better pain relief while potentially allowing patients to use lower doses of opioids. The trial will involve 177 adult cancer patients who are experiencing significant pain despite current treatments.
