New pill targets Tough-to-Treat cancers in groundbreaking trial
NCT ID NCT06616766
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new oral medication called YH42946 for people with advanced solid tumors that have specific genetic changes (HER2 or EGFR mutations). The trial aims to find the safest dose and see if the drug can shrink tumors in 161 patients who have run out of standard treatment options. Researchers will first determine the maximum safe dose, then expand to see how well it works against specific cancer types.
