Experimental cancer drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat GI tumors

Summary

This is the first study in US patients testing an experimental drug called 7MW4911 for advanced gastrointestinal cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The research aims to find the safest and most effective dose while checking if the drug helps shrink tumors. The study will enroll about 200 adults with advanced colorectal cancer or other GI cancers who have already tried available treatments.
