First patients to receive new experimental cancer pill

NCT ID NCT06804824

Summary

This is the first study in people to test a new oral drug called VVD-159642, which is designed to block specific cancer growth signals. It will enroll about 220 adults with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals are to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and get an early look at whether it can help shrink or control tumors, both when given alone and when combined with other cancer drugs.
