First patients test promising new cancer pill targeting specific genetic flaw
NCT ID NCT06568614
Summary
This is the first study in people testing a new oral drug called BG-89894 for advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change (MTAP deletion). The main goals are to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and look for early signs that it might help control cancer. The study will enroll about 29 adults whose cancer has progressed after standard treatments.
