New cancer drug injected directly into tumors in first human trial

Summary
This is a first-in-human study testing a new drug called BI 1831169 for adults with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to find the highest safe dose of the drug when given alone and when combined with an existing immunotherapy, and to see if the treatment can shrink tumors. The drug is given either as an injection directly into a tumor, an infusion into a vein, or both, and participants are closely monitored for safety and response.
