New dental filling material put to the test in 5-Year study

Summary
This study is testing two new tooth-colored filling materials used together to repair cavities in back teeth. About 65 adults with cavities or old fillings that need replacing will receive the new fillings and be checked for pain, function, and appearance over 5 years. The goal is to see if the materials are safe and work well for everyday dental care.
