Could this new scanner make breast cancer detection better?
NCT ID NCT07492589
Summary
This study is testing a new imaging device called the PAM3+ that uses light and sound waves to detect breast lesions. Researchers want to see how well it finds both cancerous and non-cancerous growths compared to standard mammograms and ultrasounds. The study involves 180 women who are already being checked for possible breast issues at a hospital clinic.
