New injection aims to loosen paralyzed arms in stroke survivors

Summary
This study is testing a new formulation of botulinum toxin (called YY001) to see if it can safely reduce severe muscle stiffness in the arm of adults who have had a stroke. About 254 participants will receive injections to see how well the treatment relaxes their tight muscles and improves their ability to perform daily tasks. The main goal is to see if the treatment is more effective than a placebo at reducing stiffness four weeks after the injection.
