Stem cell graft aims to heal Kids' bones, prevent amputations
NCT ID NCT07112443
Summary
This study is testing a new bone graft material called NVD003, made from a child's own fat stem cells, to see if it works better than the standard bone graft for healing a rare and serious leg fracture in children. The goal is to help the bone heal properly so the child can walk without pain and avoid needing more surgeries. About 12 children with this condition will be randomly assigned to receive either the new graft or the standard one during their surgery.
