Faster blood test could help doctors stop dangerous bleeding after birth

NCT ID NCT06255496

Summary

This study tested a new device called the Quantra System, which quickly measures how well a person's blood clots. Researchers compared it to standard blood tests in 296 pregnant women who were at risk of severe bleeding during or after delivery. The goal was to see if this new device could provide accurate, real-time information to help doctors manage bleeding emergencies more effectively.
