Breakthrough trial aims to stop dangerous bleeding in emergency surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called VMX-C001 can safely and effectively control bleeding during urgent, high-risk surgeries for patients taking common blood thinners (FXa DOACs). Researchers will compare the new drug to the usual standard of care in 800 participants. The main goal is to see if VMX-C001 leads to better or excellent bleeding control during the procedure, as judged by independent experts.
