Your own blood vs botox: new hope for bladder control
NCT ID NCT07184307
Summary
This study compares two treatments for people with overactive bladder that hasn't improved with standard medications. Researchers are testing whether injections of platelet-rich plasma (made from a patient's own blood) work as well as Botox injections for reducing bladder symptoms. About 48 adults will receive one of these treatments and be followed for one year to see which provides better symptom relief with fewer side effects.
