New hope for Moms' aching backs: study tests unique exercise approach

NCT ID NCT07099755

Summary

This study tested whether a specific exercise program called Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) could help reduce low back pain and improve daily function in new mothers. It involved 60 women who had given birth 3 to 6 months earlier and were experiencing back pain. The program focused on retraining core muscles and breathing patterns, and was compared against standard treatments like ultrasound and heat therapy.
