New 'Artificial Pancreas' system aims for better diabetes control
NCT ID NCT07227805
Summary
This study is testing a new automated insulin delivery system called the MiniMed NMX8 to see if it's as safe and effective as a current model (the 780G system). About 116 people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who already use the 780G system will try the new device for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the new system keeps blood sugar in a healthy range just as well or better than the current one.
