New stick treatment tested for common foot fungus

Summary

This study is testing whether a new stick-form version of the antifungal medication tolnaftate (1%) is safe and effective for treating athlete's foot. Researchers are enrolling 150 people aged 16 and older who have a confirmed case of tinea pedis. The main goal is to see if the treatment clears the fungal infection by week 4.
