Summary
This study tested two new antibiotic combinations (cefepime/nacubactam and aztreonam/nacubactam) against a standard treatment for complicated urinary tract infections and kidney infections in adults. About 614 participants took part to see if the new drugs work better or as well as the current therapy. The goal was to clear the infection and improve symptoms.
