NCT ID NCT07326540

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a new combination of antibiotics (BV100 plus low-dose polymyxin B) against a standard treatment for a serious lung infection caught in the hospital. The infection is caused by bacteria that are resistant to many current drugs. About 248 adults will take part to see if the new combo reduces deaths and cures the infection better than the standard approach.
