New hope for blood cancer patients: experimental combo challenges Decades-Old standard
NCT ID NCT06451861
Summary
This study is testing whether a new three-drug combination called ABC-14 works better than current standard treatments for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a serious blood cancer. Researchers will compare ABC-14 against the traditional "3+7" chemotherapy and another newer two-drug combination in 240 participants. The goal is to see if ABC-14 leads to better remission rates and survival with fewer side effects.
