New hope for AML patients: trial tests promising drug combo against standard care

Summary

This study aims to find out if a new three-drug combination called ABC-14 works better and is safer than two other standard treatment options for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Researchers will compare how well each treatment puts the cancer into remission and keeps it from coming back. The trial is currently recruiting 240 participants.
