New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: experimental drug enters human trials

Summary

This study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called ziftomenib to standard leukemia treatments is safe and effective. It will involve 420 adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who have specific genetic changes in their cancer cells. The main goals are to find the safest dose and see if the combinations can help patients achieve remission.
