New hope for untreated blood cancer: Four-Drug combo enters clinical trial

NCT ID NCT03586609

Summary

This study is testing whether combining four different cancer drugs works better than current treatments for adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a fast-growing blood cancer. About 145 participants will receive the drug combination in cycles to try to eliminate cancer cells and prevent their return. Researchers will measure how well the treatment works, how long benefits last, and what side effects patients experience.
