Breakthrough radiation therapy targets Hard-to-Treat cancers with pinpoint precision
NCT ID NCT05636618
Summary
This study is testing a new targeted radiation treatment for adults with advanced neuroendocrine tumors that cannot be surgically removed or have spread. The treatment uses a radioactive substance that seeks out and delivers powerful radiation directly to cancer cells while trying to spare healthy tissue. Researchers will first determine the safest and most effective dose, then expand the study to further assess safety and how well the treatment works against these difficult-to-treat cancers.
