New patch aims to ease recovery after throat surgery
NCT ID NCT07366281
Summary
This study is testing whether a new skin adhesive is safe and comfortable to use right after surgery to remove the voice box (laryngectomy). About 25 adults having this surgery will use the adhesive as part of their standard care for roughly 30 days. Researchers will check for skin reactions, how well it sticks, and how easy it is to use, comparing results to past data from older adhesives.
