New acne gel put to the test against leading treatment

Summary
This study tested a new topical gel called IDP-126 for treating moderate to severe acne. It directly compared the new gel to a commonly used treatment, Epiduo Forte, and a placebo gel. The 12-week trial involved 686 participants aged 12 and older to see which treatment was more effective at reducing acne lesions and improving skin appearance.
