New gel could offer hope for clearer skin in acne battle

Summary
This study is testing a new gel called N-Acetyl-GED-0507-34-LEVO to see if it safely reduces acne on the face and body. About 400 participants, aged 9 to 50 with moderate to severe acne, will apply the gel or a placebo (inactive gel) once daily for 12 weeks. Doctors will count pimples and blackheads and assess skin appearance to see if the new treatment works better than the placebo.
