Summary
This study is testing if a new drug called Anaprazole can heal damage in the esophagus caused by acid reflux and reduce symptoms like heartburn. It will compare Anaprazole to an existing medication (Rabeprazole) in 500 adults over 8 weeks. The main goal is to see if the new drug helps the esophagus lining heal completely when viewed with a camera.
