New eye drops aim to heal corneas that Won't heal on their own

Summary
This study tests an eye drop called RGN-259 for people with neurotrophic keratopathy, a condition where the cornea (the clear front part of the eye) has a sore that won't heal. The trial will compare the eye drop to a placebo in 70 adults to see if it helps the sore heal completely within 29 days. Participants must have a persistent corneal defect that hasn't healed after standard treatment.
