First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new training tool that measures how much force is applied to the brain during simulated surgery. Researchers will have 30 medical students, residents, fellows, and neurosurgeons perform a procedure on a calf brain model. The goal is to see if the system can tell the difference between beginners and experts, which could help improve surgical training and safety.
