First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how different levels of muscle relaxation during abdominal surgery affect lung pressure and the risk of breathing problems after the operation. About 128 adults having planned abdominal surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either deep or moderate muscle relaxation. The goal is to see which approach leads to better lung function and fewer serious breathing events after surgery.
