Zap your way to a cleaner colon? new study tests painless prep
NCT ID NCT07290816
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation treatment can help people get a cleaner bowel before a colonoscopy. Researchers will enroll 270 adults scheduled for a colonoscopy to see if this method improves cleansing quality compared to standard prep. The goal is to help doctors see the colon wall more clearly to better detect polyps.
