New nasal spray trial aims to slow Alzheimer's memory loss
NCT ID NCT07178678
Summary
This study is testing whether a nasal spray called NeuroEPO can help slow or prevent further memory and thinking decline in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will compare NeuroEPO against a placebo spray in 90 participants who will use it three times per week for one year while continuing their standard Alzheimer's medications. The main goal is to see if NeuroEPO helps maintain cognitive function and is safe for long-term use.
