Researchers dig through health records to uncover hidden cancer triggers
NCT ID NCT06282016
Summary
This study aims to understand what increases a person's risk of developing neuroendocrine tumors, which are rare cancers that can occur in the lungs and digestive system. Researchers will analyze existing health records from over 14,000 people in Bavaria, comparing those with tumors to those without. The goal is to identify potential risk factors like family history, lifestyle habits, or other health conditions to better explain why these tumors appear to be increasing.
