First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how the brain handles short-term memory by recording electrical signals from electrodes placed in the brains of 100 epilepsy patients. Participants perform memory tasks while their brain activity is measured, and some receive mild brain stimulation. The goal is to better understand memory problems and find new ways to diagnose or treat them.
