New lotion tested for rare, severe skin disorder

NCT ID NCT05521438

Summary

This study is testing a lotion called QRX003 to see if it is safe and can help control the symptoms of Netherton Syndrome, a rare and serious genetic skin condition. About 30 participants aged 14 and older will apply the lotion or a placebo to their skin for several weeks. Researchers will measure changes in skin redness, scaling, itch, and overall severity to see if the treatment works.
