Zap for Zzz's: device trial aims to soothe cancer Survivors' lingering pain and fatigue

NCT ID NCT06230679

Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive device called NESA could help cancer survivors manage common long-term side effects like poor sleep, fatigue, and pain. Forty survivors, at least five years past treatment, were randomly assigned to receive either the real device therapy or a sham (fake) treatment to see which worked better. The goal was to see if this device could become a helpful, drug-free tool for improving survivors' daily comfort and quality of life.
