Can a simple heart test predict a dangerous transplant complication?
NCT ID NCT07374874
Summary
This study aims to understand if simple tests of the body's automatic nervous system (like heart rate changes when standing) can help predict who might develop a serious complication called acute Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD) after a stem cell transplant. Researchers will observe 60 patients receiving a specific type of transplant from a half-matched donor. They will perform nervous system tests before and after the transplant and track who develops GvHD to look for a connection.
