NCT ID NCT07247721

First seen Dec 23, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at how two different electrical stimulation methods affect the nerves in healthy volunteers. One method uses sticky pads on the skin (TENS), and the other uses tiny needles near the nerve (PENS). 120 healthy adults aged 18-60 each received one 20-minute session. The goal was to measure changes in pain sensitivity and muscle strength, not to treat any condition.
