Summary
This study tested a new method to monitor nerves during lower back surgery. Researchers used surface electrodes to stimulate nerves above the surgical area and recorded muscle responses in the legs. The goal was to see if this approach is reliable and reproducible. 57 adults undergoing specific spine surgery participated.
