Zapping away the pain: new hope for men suffering after prostate surgery

NCT ID NCT07348952

Summary

This study tested two different types of gentle electrical skin stimulation to see if they could relieve chronic pelvic nerve pain in men who had prostate surgery. Researchers worked with 60 men aged 50-60 who had this specific, hard-to-treat pain. They measured pain levels and stress hormones before and after a 3-month treatment program to see which method worked better.
