First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether mild electrical stimulation of a nerve in the ear can change how healthy people feel pain. 36 volunteers will receive different frequencies of stimulation while researchers measure their pain from heat and pressure. The goal is to understand how this nerve affects pain, not to treat any disease.
