Scientists test 'Glue' to instantly reconnect severed nerves
NCT ID NCT02359825
Summary
This early-stage study is testing if a special gel can help quickly reconnect completely severed nerves in the hand. The gel, made from a common laxative ingredient, is applied during standard nerve repair surgery. Researchers hope it will allow nerves to start working again much faster than current methods, which can take months.
