First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at a device called NeuroVision that monitors nerve activity during spine surgery. Normally, surgeons check screw placement after the screw is in. This device lets them check as the screw goes in, aiming to catch problems early. The study involved 60 adults having lumbar fusion surgery to see if this real-time monitoring gives useful extra information to prevent nerve injury.
