New nasal spray aims to rescue vision after sudden eye attack
NCT ID NCT07453888
Summary
This study is testing whether a nasal spray containing a nerve growth factor protein (cenegermin) can help improve vision in adults who recently experienced sudden vision loss from NAION. About 272 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active spray or a placebo spray. The main goal is to see if the treatment helps people read more letters on an eye chart 24 weeks later.
