Simple hand exercises show promise for carpal tunnel relief
NCT ID NCT05905107
Summary
This study tested two different nerve gliding exercise techniques to see which works better for reducing pain and improving wrist movement in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Fifty-six patients were randomly assigned to perform exercises either from the shoulder toward the hand or from the hand toward the shoulder for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, wrist flexibility, and hand function to determine which approach provided better relief.
